Very big and ambitious research project organized by TOTAL (Massonnat et al., 2017) involving many universities, scientific disciplines and geoscience experts and students for improving our understanding and modelling of flow dynamics in complex carbonate reservoirs with highly heterogeneous pore systems (matrix, fractures, karsts) (ALBION). In this post, we address only the geological activities of this project, including the PhD thesis of Stanislas Wilk on carbonate sedimentary bodies in the Urgonian.
